Stranger’s Hall (folded paper)

Strangers Hall is the 2009 Norfolk Commission Winner Meirion Jordan’s poetic exploration of the history of Norwich based on the musuem at Strangers Hall. Born in 1985 and a graduate of the UEA MA in poetry, Meirion is a rising star of British poetry. Gatehouse is proud to publish this collection of what Helen Ivory calls “intelligent poems written with a historian’s eye and a very finely tuned ear.” This is the second Norfolk Commission-winning collection published by Gatehouse, and is essential reading for all those interested in both the history of Norwich and the art inspired by and produced here. Strangers Hall is available in hardback format (limited edition signed by the author) and in a fold-out reversible A2 pamphlet size, complete with seal and red ribbon.
