Gatehouse Press are now shutting down for the holidays and we will return the first week of Jan. We will still be picking up orders and will post out whenever the post office is open.
However, before we expertly pack our suitcases with toothbrushes and surreptitious yew trees, we have the Lighthouse Issue #7 submissions to go through. It’s shaping up to be a great issue, with an extract in the features section from Dan Richards’ book, Climbing Days, a peripatetic biography he is writing of his great-great-aunt, Dorothy Pilley, a prominent and pioneering mountaineer of the early 20th Century, and due to published by Faber in 2015. We will also have features from Moniza Alvi and Hope Wolf. It’s due to land late Jan, early Feb.
2015 will see the start of our Prose pamphlet series, with the selected stories from the New Fictions Prize, plus some poetry pamphlets, and a very special project that we can’t mention yet. *Teaser*
